How to get cat urine smell out of a stuffed animal?

My cat peed on a stuffed animal and I tried to wash it with soap on a wash cloth because it says not to put in the washer. It didnt work. Can you put a stuffed animal in the wash. What are some ways to get the smell out.How to get cat urine smell out of a stuffed animal?

With cloth diaper, I used borax to soak them in, and it gave them a fresh smell, for at least a little while.
