Can anyone tell me how to open a .iso file please?

I've got a new program on my pc and have no idea how to run it!

1. Burn to CD. You would tell the software to burn an image - different from a data copy


2. Mount it using special software like Daemontools


3. You need something like winrar or 7zip to open it to extract it.Can anyone tell me how to open a .iso file please?
An ISO is meant to be burnt to cd or dvd
Ok well in order to use an iso image


you have to either





A. burn it to a disk


B. mount it using software





A is simple burn iso to disk. done





B. Go to http://www.daemon-tools.cc/eng/downloads and find daemon tools lite


Install the program And then run it You should see an icon at the bottom right of your task bar in windows. Right click on it And Scroll over then scroll over Device 0: Then click mount image , Browse through your files and open it up , And done.





Btw Above is wrong You dont need to extract It if its already an Iso file
You either need to put it onto a cd/dvd to run it or you can open it from your hard drive via VLC player

if u have CD/DVD Writer at ur machine install nero 6.0 and double click that it it will be write on that cd/dvd then u can easily open it





or else u can use winzip/winrar to extract and open.,

As has been said, you can burn the iso file to a CD/DVD. You can also use a program called ISOBuster to open the ISO file and view it's content.
